If you ever watch organizing videos, you may have seen Home Organizing by Alejandra. She has many wonderful organizing tips and tricks. I recently needed a clever inexpensive way to store my cooking oil sprays in the cabinet. I saw her idea on creating a Lazy Susan with Dollar Tree products. I was sold!
You will need two Dollar Tree cake pans.
A bag of marbles.
Pour the marbles into one of the cake pans.
Place the second cake pan on top.
That's it! Super simple and cheap. Can't beat that. And it works fabulously!! For $3.00 I have now corralled all my cooking oil sprays and am able to grab what I need without knocking everything else over.....I am not the most graceful of people.Hereis the link to Alejandra's You Tube video where you can watch this tutorial. Check out the rest of her videos. Very inspiring. :)
Last week DH and I finished installing are kitchen back splash. We have been in our house for almost three years and could never decide what type of tile would go well with our counter tops and cabinets. We settled on a white glass subway tile. It turned out great! Not too shabby for two amateur back splash installers. It completes our kitchen and it has really brightened it up. I just love the way it looks and I smile whenever I see it. To finish it off we purchased these switch plates.
